Somehow I apparently signed up for Google +. To get rid of Google+, the instructions were to click on my name, click account setting, click account overview, click delete profile & remove associated social features.

I have not done so yet as I am awaiting advice. Lots of warnings along the way as I followed the path. I DO NOT want to delete my many g-mail addresses or loose access to my uploaded Picasa Web Albums.

ARGH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!   Connie B.

Connie,

Please watch the video on Google Plus Sharing.  You might find that you don't need to worry about it, because you are still sharing with Picasa Web Albums as well.  Or, you can go ahead and delete the google plus profile as suggested.

I agree it's a little scary with their wording to 'Delete profile and remove associated Google+ features'.  But the next option is 'Close entire account and delete all services and info associated with it'  … that's the one you definitely don't want to do.

If you want to wait a bit, I'll try signing odie up for Google Plus, then deleting it and verify that his email and blogs and web albums are still there.

Please try with Odie's accounts. Will wait to see how it works for Odie. Thanks, Connie B.Smile

Ok, I did it and it worked just fine.  I recorded the whole process.

I figured that a lot of people may have this question, so I made a new video:

Thank you Chris. It worked.

The reason I did not want Google+ photos was that I could not find any way in Google+ to do anything with the photo albums. Since I am doing my club's photos and my condo's photos, I need to do the following once the albums are up: to change the order of the photo albums, add new photos to existing albums and rearrange the photos in an album, change title or date or description. Until Google+ allows some of those features, it's a no for me to use Google+.
