Dot,
You’ll need to do it in 2 steps.
- In Google Photos, open the favorites album, select all the photos, then click the 3-dot menu and choose Download and select a folder on your computer. This will create a .zip file in that folder
If you don’t know how to select all, watch video 435 - Unzip the zip file (right-click Extract All) and choose the thumb drive as the destination.

If you start with the photo, you can just tap the share icon and then choose to share with email or iMessage.
