Q: I added google photos app to my android phone and now see my pictures in google photos. Also have my gallery on phone with same pictures. Do I keep both? The google photos are not saved to my phone but to the cloud? So I don’t really have duplicate pictures saved to my phone?
A: sounds like you’ve got it. Just be aware that Google Photos will show you photos taken with your android phone even if they have not been uploaded to the cloud yet. So – do NOT erase any photos using Google Photos unless you first check and confirm that they are uploaded. Do that by using your computer and visiting photos.google.com
