I have lots of photo’s that have never been digitized some back before 2000. I am new to google photo’s but would like to get these in chronological order. How should I proceed. I guess the mort exact i need to be is the year. Can I take digital images of those photons all from the same year and put them up into the chronological record by the year taken?
That would be quite the project and I will limit it to a very small sample of photos taken on each trip. Is there a way to add a typed page separating the years or the trips in a year?
Thanks

Here is a video about editing the date of digital photos:
If you don’t want to do that work then, yes, you can simply digitize (use your smartphone and snap a photo of the old photos) a group of photos all from one year – upload them to Google Photos – then make an album named for that year.
I’m not sure what you mean by a typed page separating the years or trips. I think albums is what you’re looking for. Then you can list albums in a web page. See this video:
Let me know if that helps or you have further questions.
