I have downloaded four different screen mirroring programs on my Window 10 and each one works as it should except for Google Photos app on my iPhone XR. When I tap on the GP app, the screen goes large with a G and then goes away. I can tap on a picture on the phone and it will show, just the picture, no icons like editing. I am trying to set it up so I can use both iPhone and Android to use in a Zoom session one of the days. Just something I thought I would try if I can get it to work. I can mirror my Android with no problem and it does like it should with Google Photos. Any ideas?

Walter,
I know, isn’t that a drag? I’ve told the folks at Google about the issue – years ago actually – and nothing has changed. Apparently it is operating as designed. They figure the only reason to share a google photos screen is to show photos!
So, the workaround is to join the Zoom meeting with your iPhone, then do a screenshare – when you see the various options, choose Screen. It works pretty well.
