I’m not sure what you saw that was Facebook accessing your Google Photos, but no, Facebook does not have access to your Google account and the photos. It does have access to the photos on your phone. So you can be in Facebook, write a post, and add a photo from your phone.
If the photo is not on the phone, and it IS in your Google Photos, the best way to post it to Facebook is to start in Google Photos, select the photo(s) then tap the Share button and choose Facebook from the list.
If you’re using Facebook from your computer,then – same thing – start with Google Photos, select the photos, click the Share button and choose Facebook as the destination.
