I looked oin my Google Drive and have many photos and movies. I selected all to upload to photos. Do they remain in the Google Drive once they upload? I’m a little confused. I don’t know how they got in Google Drive since I never used it. I just completed, I hope, the backup and Sync from my computer and Iphone. I’m not sure on the next step, if any, to do. HELP

Hey Niki,
We discussed this at our Member Orientation zoom meeting yesterday. Hopefully you got your answer.
To clarify – when you use the Google Photos command to Upload from Google Drive, you are getting a copy. The photos remain in Google Drive after they’ve been copied to Google Photos. You can delete them from Google Drive then if you wish.
Realize that the newly uploaded photos will not appear at the top of your library in Google Photos, they will be sorted according to their dates taken. If you want to see them at the top, you can change the sort by clicking on the Explore menu, then choose “Recently Added”
Hope that helps. Congrats on getting all your photos together in Google Photos!
