I have some photos in Picasa and need JPEG format.  Is there a way to export as jpeg or to convert to jpeg after exporting

Thanks

Jim

Picasa is not a “format” – it mostly is a viewer and it views .jpg as well as .gif, .mov, .mp4 etc.

To see exactly where and what the photo is:

  • View the photo in Google PHotos
  • Right-click on it and choose “Locate on Disk”
  • That will open the folder where the photo exists and you’ll see the complete name, ending in .jpg (or .jpeg – same thing)

The export feature is usually used to change the quality of the photo.

Does that help?
