Over time, I have inadvertently created several albums containing photos of our AirCam plane.  How can I combine those albums so all appear in ONE album?  See attached photo which should help explain my problem.

Hey Sue,

The way I do that is to designate the album that I want to hold all the others. I’ll call that Album 1. Now open each of the other albums in turn and

  1.  Open album2
  2. Select all  – computer: select the first then Shift-Select the last. If there are LOTS of photos, you need to do it in chunks.
on mobile: touch and hold on the first photo and drag thru all the rest.
  3. Click the + in upper right and choose album
  4. Find Album 1 and click it
  5. Repeat for albums 3,4,5,6 etc.

Let me know if that works for you.

Thanks again, Chris.  As usual, you know the answers.  I absolutely appreciate your help all the time!

Yay!

Oh – I forgot to add the last step

Once all the photos are added to album1 from album2 – you can delete album2. That doesn’t affect the photos, just the album structure.

  • Open Album2
  • Click the 3-dot menu in upper right and choose Delete Album

Duh.  I should have tried the copy paste procedure long before calling you.  I think I needed a nap.  Embarassed

It was so easy………..I should have tried that to begin with.  Thanks for answering though and NOT laughing at me.
