Jim and Chris, I discovered that I didn’t have Back Up & Sync set up completely and correctly so did it again through my Win 7 laptop.  Now all my folders have changed on my Android tablet.  The folders are there but not as before in proper heirarchy but now appear separately in one big list.  Is this correctable?  As always, appreciate your help.

Hey Frank,

I need some clarification – 

So, Backup & Sync is a tool for syncing with Google Drive. When you say your folders have changed on your Android tablet, are you referring to folders within the Google Drive app? 

If you open the Google Drive app on your Android, you will see 2 tabs: My Drive and Computers. Is it one of those that is messed up?

Or are you just referring to Photos? Backup & Sync does upload to Google photos (if that box is checked) but there are no folders involved – all photos uploaded are just individual photos that will be in date order in Google Photos, so I’m not sure what you’re referring to.

Sorry for delay but it appears that I have it fixed.  Not sure what I did but everything seems to be back in order.  The issue was none of my files were in their folder and the folders were not together in a group (Normal headachy).  Probably still not clear what the problem was but guess it doesn’t matter as it’s now fixed… I think.
