I was wondering if somone might help me with this question. I am a getting an error when I am trying to back up my Picasa pictures. There are several years of photos and some slide shows I did on ther. What I would like to do instead is back up year by year instaed of the entire group of pictures. Does anyone know how to make a CD/DVD of multiple folders of choice?
I have looked and looked for some software that allows you to select multiple folders and then burns CDs, asking for an additional CD when the first one is full. Picasa is the only program I've found that does that.
If anyone has used such a program, we'd love to hear about it!
What error are you getting with Picasa?
Usually errors in backup are caused by a corrupted file which throws a wrench in the works. I have been able to find such corrupted files by using Windows Explorer and just browsing a file list. It crashes at the corrupted file. I think I then had to go to DOS (remember that?) to delete the file, because windows always crashed when it hit it. I haven't had the opportunity to investigate a corrupted file since Windows 7 – it may handle it better.
