Is there are way the the albums can be listed alphabetically, I do waste a great deal of time searching for the album I want.
Please what do you recommend for a back up now for my photos

Sorting albums is a feature that just came out last week!
When you view Albums – mobile only – you will now see a little up/down arrow at the top right. Tap that and you’ll see “Most recent photo, Last modified, Album title” Tap on Album title and they will be sorted alphabetically.
Hopefully this is coming to the computer/web version also.
As for backup of your photos, I’m not sure what you’re referring to, but I backup to OneDrive in addition to Google Photos. That’s covered in Episode 171 of our Button Show
