Hey Phyllis,
I think what you want to do is:
- Open an album and choose a photo to edit
- Use Snapseed to add text to that photo and save it
- Have the edited (with text) photo show up in the album
Me too! Unfortunately, #3 doesn’t work. You can do 1 and 2 – so open the album and the photo, then tap 3-dot menu and Edit in Snapseed. You can add the text, save and done (or export/save on iPhone). BUT, it doesn’t save over the existing photo in the album. It creates a new photo which won’t show up in the album. It will be in your library, probably with the same date as the original, and you would need to add it to the album – then remove the original.
I sure wish it saved over the original! According to the official snapseed help screens, you can save over the original – but it’s never worked for me.
