Hi, Chris, glad you make it through the Hurricane and enjoyed your map updates.
Gary and I are taking a trip to San Diego next week from Scottsdale and when i create the route, with a stop in Yuma, the directions leave I-8 in California and go north, and then return to I-8 further west around El Centro. I cannot seem to see what option might be affecting the route. I have not selected any avoid options. Do you have a suggestion as to what might be causing this?
Thanks

Thanks LuVerne!
I just tried plotting that route with guillotine maps and get the same results. It looks like there’s a road closures on i8 if you turn on traffic. Did you see my video on that? It’s included in this blog post https://learnbuttons.blogspot……e.html?m=1

All right, we took the route from Scottsdale to San Diego going through Yuma. There was major highway work being done in California, but the road was not closed. The westbound traffic was moved to the inside eastbound lane and therefore eastbound only had the one outside lane. The road was never closed, just diverted, (called a detour) but never left I-8. Interesting, we counldn’t figure out where the actual detour was supposed to be, as it showed on the map as past the beginning of the road work. Anyhow, we are enjoying the cooler weather in in SD. Thanks for your input
