Recently my newsfeed is over flowing. Every time a ‘friend’ likes a posting or becomes ‘friends’with someone it appears in my newsfeed; this causes my newsfeed to be have way to many entries–I am missing posts that I want to see. I only want to see the posts from my friends. I see others complaining about this, has FB changed something? This just started recently. On one forum they suggested using FB PURITY to stop this, do know if that is safe to use or necessary?
Do you know about the News Feed settings for “Most Recent” or “Top Stories”
I’m not sure if this is what is going on, but take a look and see if your Newsfeed is set to Most Recent, and change it to Top Stories. Top Stories is the more limited setting.
On a computer you should see “Newsfeed” in your left hand side bar – click on the dropdown arrow and you should see the choices for Most recent or Top Stories.
If you’re on a phone or tablet, let me know which kind (Android or Apple) and we’ll go from there.
