I tried to post photos from Google Photos to one of my facebook groups using my Chromebook.  I used the square with the arrow and proceeded.  The problem was it did not offer the option of posting to the group so it posted to my personal facebook page.  Hopefully it created interest in the group and may attract new members to my group.

I then posted the photos using my ipad and the option of the group came up and I posted the photos to the group as originally planned.

Is there a way to post photos in Google Photos to a facebook group using a computer and getting that option, or must it be done on an ipad?

I have enjoyed writing on photos in Google Photos and posting them in my facebook groups The Missing Link and GoCube Club.  At times the Snapseed option vanishes and I cannot use it.  Do you have any idea why?  I often use it several times on one photo, like at the top and the bottom and find it excellent for my purposes of labeling patterns done with the puzzles when it is there to use.

Thank you so much for your help.

On your Chromebook, you have two options for Google Photos – the Android app, and the browser version. It sounds like you may have been using the browser version which cannot share to an app. The android app can.

As for Snapseed, I wonder if that may be related to your Chromebook also. You might want to review episode 142:
