Lately (OK, for the last couple of months) when I upload my pictures from Picasa into Facebook, the captions are not coming with them. I add the captions in Picasa, export the files to a separate folder (in this folder the picture files still have the captions), but when I upload them into Facebook, the captions are not there. They used to show up as Description in Facebook.
Any idea what could be happening?
hmmmm, I just tried it myself and you’re right … my captions do not appear in Facebook when I use Facebook to upload them. I sure thought they used to follow along. I researched and couldn’t find any help.
But, I don’t use that method. If you install the Picasa Uploader it sends the pictures directly from Picasa to Facebook and, I just tested it, the captions are there on facebook.

Thanks Chris! As far as I can tell, it was sometime in June that the captions stopped going into Facebook . . . not sure why.
Anyway, now I’ve added the Picassa Uploader Button (and the “Shop” button while I was in there), and it works just fine, so I’m all set for most of my pictures. It looks like the only thing the uploader can’t be used for is putting pictures directly on your timeline. Those are usually just onesy/twosey pictures, though, and I usually add a description after I post them, so not a big deal . . .
Thanks again!
