Can I stop the postings of all of my friends requesting game responses. It seems like that is all I get. I am not playing any games on facebooks and don't want their requests.

Two things – you probably need to use the search box to find the game's fan page, or App. Once there, click on the dropdown arrow at the top right, just under the banner picture. That's where you'll find the 'Block App' command.
