I am an experienced Facebook user without problems. However, since my wife recently started her own account, some of her picture downloads aren’t being seen by other friends. We have set all security / viewing tabs to friends on downloaded pictures, Timeline settings, Home page settings…everywhere there is a security / viewing question. We see the pics on her page but they don’t send to other viewers. We have used Picasa, our own picture files, and no luck. I have looked for Facebook support, but it is very generic and it didn’t help. She has had previous downloads without issues. I can’t seem to remedy this…HELP!
Hmmmm.
Are you posting the pictures in a status update? Or just uploading pictures directly to albums?
The standard way of sharing pictures, or anything else for that matter, is to use the status update box at the top of your newsfeed. Clicking the Add Photos/Video link will let you upload one or several photos. They will be shared with whoever is selected right there in the post box. It’s called the Audience Selector and it should probably be set to Friends.
Here’s Facebook’s help screen on the audience selector.
Here’s our video face12.Privacy #200
If, however, you are uploading pictures directly to an album, then the album properties control who sees it.
Let me know more details on how you’re getting the pictures from your computer to Facebook and we’ll go from there.
