I have tried SEVEN times to install MS Windos 10 on my 6-month old ASUS Laptop (Model Q502LA). running Windows 8.1.
All attempts have “Failed” with an accompanying Error Code 80070005.
I’ve had no help from MS Support. I used their Diagnostic Tool, download assistant, Online Chat Room (which says, “You are number 6. Wait time 1 minute.” Twice I waited 20 + minutes and gave up. I Googled the Error Code and no real help.Just ads for $$$ Fix-It programs.
I’m loosing hours of time from my home-business.
Help, please.

Sorry to hear you are having problems with the update. It sounds like a permissions issue.
I did find this possible solution:

I have only upgraded three computers to Windows 10, so I don’t have much experience with these problems.
Have you tried the place you bought the computer? Or Asus support?
