Is it when you’re using Zoom? If so, try clicking the button at the top right “View” and then the last selection “Exit Full Screen”

If that’s not it, have you reboot your computer?

There is a setting that makes the task bar disappear unless you hover your mouse at the bottom. So – does it appear? To try:

  1. move your mouse to the bottom of your screen
  2. if the taskbar appears, right-click on it and choose Taskbar settings
  3. then choose “Taskbar Behaviors” and UNcheck “Automatically hide the taskbar”
  4. If you have multiple monitors you may want to check “Show my taskbar on all displays”

If you don’t have these options, maybe you’re on Windows 10? I’m on 11.

Let me know if any of these help.

I rebotted and got the taskbar back. I thought I had rebooted yesterday, but all I did was turn it off and back on. Thanks.

By the way, how do I get to “Show my taskbar on all displays”? I only have pne display. Win 11.

Thanks again.

To “show my taskbar on all displays”, you just need to check the box in the Taskbar settings:

  1. Right-Click on a current taskbar and choose “Taskbar Settings”
  2.  Scroll down to “Taksbar Behaviors” and click that
  3.  You should now see “Show my taskbar on all displays”
