Got an email from what a wierd e address; it’s multiple tel#s (area code 225-…-….) @msm.com!
 
A/C 225 is Baton Rouge – where we’re from – but # not in contacts!
 
Heard  or read that if I call, or reply, it gives them access to hack – kinda like ‘Friend Requests’ on FB & other SPAM – true, or am I just being paranoid!?
 
Should I even be asking this kind of question on here!?;)

There are lots of scams that make their number come as close as possible to yours – same area code, same first 3 digits. I would ignore it or maybe block it. 

You can always try a reverse search if you want to know more. I’ve used the free app called HiYa for this.
