I don’t know if you used Quattro Pro much while a WordPerfect user. I wanted to create a spreadsheet for my checking account when I stopped using Quicken and even though I used the spreadsheet more than the document when i worked I have forgotten how to create a relationship formula to make each row add the deposit and subtract the debits so I can just copy and paste that formula. It used something like #A#1+#C#3-#c#2. Just hoped you are familiar with it.
It has been 21 years since I retired and old timers sometimes kicks in. Good show on Google Docs, I wasn’t familiar with how easy it was and will be using it more now. Sorry I couldn’t find the link to the Backstage Paas.
The only thing I remember about Quattro Pro is that it was a spreadsheet! No clue how to write formulas for it. BUT, I’ll bet you could upload it to Google Drive and use Google Sheets to convert and work with it.
As for the backstage pass – sorry we missed you. You can always get the link on our website. Just use the menu at GeeksOnTour.com and click on Member Login – once you’re logged in you’ll see lots of links to the content – the top one is the Backstage pass link.
Hope to see you next time.
Thanks, Chris. I found the link, so I will be able to use it in the future. I really enjoyed the info about Google docs/sheets and will become more active using them in the future. Our cruise fellow passengers have been providing infromation about the cruise on Google docs and sheets and it’s great to be able to share all this information.
