We have one laptop that we both use. I have my android phone set to transfer photos to the laptop dropbox. I would like to have my wife’s iPhone also send photos to the same dropbox. I loaded dropbox on the iPhone and it sends photos to some account. In her email it says she needs to download dropbox. It appears it wants another computer and then can share files, this is not what we want. Is there a fix to use multiple cameras to the same dropbox?
Dropbox is intended to be one account, one person.
To have her phone’s pictures show up on your computer you need to either:
1. Have her use your account username/password for the dropbox settings on her phone.
2. Establish her own account, see that the Camera Uploads are indeed being uploaded to her Dropbox account online (www.dropbox.com) and then share it with you. hmmm – not sure how that would work when the folder name is exactly the same as your Camera Upload.
I think that using the same account may be what you want to do. So, in the dropbox settings on her phone, enter your username and password. Then her photos will be uploaded to your account and synchronized to your laptop. Think of it like you having two phones.
