My sister gets her internet from her building. She plugs a cable into the phone and directly into the computer. She suddenly lost her connection. I unplugged the cable from the computer and phone and unplugged the phone from the wall.  I waited 2 minutes and plugged everything back in. Still no internet. I need to help her she is homebound and need the internet to pay bills etc.

Thanks for any help

AlmaK

Very likely it has nothing to do with you – like electricity, the Internet may be down for the building. Can you call the Internet provider?

Thanks for your help.

I am actually trying to help my sister who is in a wheelchair . She tried to get help from the building. She said that they would not help. I called them. The people manning the front desk seem to know nothing about the phone or internet system.

Actually she has decided to get a different service on her own. She is getting Centurylink. She is in Scottsdale, AZ. I hope that works better for her.

It’s always better to have your own connection with a phone number you can call for support!

Hope it works out.
