Jim and Chris,
enjoyed the week at LazyDays and look forward to learning more from the GEEKS this year.
I have a mobile Hotspot From AT&T made by ZTE and have unlimited text and data. I also have Directvnow at $10/mo.
My problem is that I have a Visio TV and cannot get the direct TV to play on it, only the computers. The problem seems to be that only the apps from Yahoo are available on the Visio and Directvnow is not one of them.
Is HULU my best option or is there a way to make my existing configuration work?
Tom,
I don’t have experience with all the different smart TVs out there and none with DirecTV Now.
I see where AppleTV and Roku devices will work with Directv Now and a search shows that it can be configured to work with a Chromecast or similar casting device to do what you want. You would be casting using an app.

Where there is a will, there’s a way.
Let us know what you get to work.
