When Gary and I were in London, the Chrome browser used the location to give me *.co.uk sites. Since we have returned home, when I go to Celebritycruises.com, I am redirected to celebritycruises.co.uk. What do I need to change to have the browser stop redirecting and let me go the the *.com site. This seems to be the only site affected. I would like to see the fares in US dollars, not pounds. I hope I have picked a valid forum, wasn’t sure what to pick.
Gary and I plan to watch your show on the Keep app, as we use it a lot and would like to be “fluent”, use it the best way.
Thanks,
LuVerne
Hey Luverne,
I found your topic. I do need to clean up the categories here … on my list!
As for redirecting you to the .co.uk – good question, I don’t know the answer but let’s do a little detective work. I know that you already cleared cookies and browser data. How about trying a different browser – does Microsoft Edge give you the correct result?
hmmm – interesting – I can manually go to celebritycruises.co.uk and it is a VERY different website, different offers etc. not just a matter of showing $ as Euros. I see why you need to find an answer to this.
I found a youtube video not exactly on point, but may help:
And, here is a discussion of others with similar problems. There doesn’t seem to be an easy answer.
