Chris, I tried attaching a screen shot from my facial recognition page, but the file was too large. I am sending the link to the file I uploaded into Google photos. I have been working at getting my photos identified by facial recognition, location and date. When adding persons on a photo, I chose the + and created a new person. The result is as shown in the facial “file”. I cannot delete these items, and cannot find what persons they refer to. Any ideas?

hmmm, I’m not sure what the gray boxes with the exclamation points mean. It looks like it’s a photo that has been deleted. Could that be?
Hopefully, it’s just a glitch where Google is temporarily unable to display the photo. That does happen. Refresh … reboot … wait. Let me know if anything changes.
One other thing to try – sign out of your Google account, sign back in.

Yes, I signed out and signed in again. I don’t sign out very often, but the situation didn’t change when I signed back in. I have deleted some photos and that could be the issue, but these began to show up while I was still identifying people in photos. A few have actually come up with the ! and a name and would provide a picture, but nothing I tried took off the !. I hope that it’s a glitch. I have had it occur a couple of times in the past, but nothing like this time. Maybe it’s like the incident where my albums all disappeared on the computer and eventually came back, I hope so. I have sent a feedback to Google, so maybe that will help. I’ll keep working on it.
Thanks again for the help.
