Want to be able to set a flag (reminder) for a GMail message to take action on a specific later day. Can’t see how to do that. GMail help says there is a “pin” symbol. Not on my PC Laptop or Android. Any ideas?

Great seeing you at DOAI Lazy Days and will drop by FMCA-Perry.

Hey Steve! Yes, it was great to meet you in person as well. I look forward to seeing you in Perry.

As for a “pin” symbol on gmail, I don’t find such a thing either, but, on my computer I can open an email, click the More… button in the top menu, and then click either Add to Tasks, or Create an Event. In the tasks pane, you can click the right arrow next to your new task and add a date due.

Hope that helps

Wow, that is a cludgey way to have to use. Oh well. I’d ask for my money back from Google but its free! Thanks for the help. Until Perry…..

hmmm. if you’re just looking for a way to ‘flag’ a message, I do that by clicking the star – that can even be done on the mobile app. Then, any time you want you can view “Starred” items. Did your followup? UNstar it.

But if you want to specify a date, the previous technique is all I know.
