I open picasa, click on 4 or so, photos, click on email.
it takes time for email to open, the email says, ‘this appears you have been sent, 4 photos–no photos can be seen
quickly a smalller screen opens headed by ‘add photos–libraria—documents;
this has never happen in several years
i have a stroke, a cognitive 2009, I am 77 hope someone helps me

I’m wondering what email program you are using. It works best if you use gmail. I see your address is with Hotmail. Do you get the choice to use Gmail when you click the email button in Picasa?
If not, use the Picasa Menu – Tools->Options->email and make sure you select the option for Email program to “Let me choose each time I send pictures”

Alford, I’m not sure where your email process is going awry. Here are the steps, let me know what step is different for you:
1. Select pictures … you should see them in the selection tray in the lower left of your screen. If you are selecting more than one picture, make sure to click the green pushpin ‘hold’ button after each one. In the image below (click it to enlarge), I’ve selected (and held) 3 pictures, then I click the Email button:
After clicking on the email button, I see the following screen:
