I know how to import a URL into Google Calendar.  I just want to be able to re-name the URL like the Apple calendar allows. I have imported several of my RV Trip Wizard Calendars into my Google Calendar but it hard to distinguish between them because the link names are so long and GC cuts of the end of the link name so all links look the same. OR, how can I sync a subscribed calendar from Apple, that I have re-named, into my Google Calendar?

I’m afraid I have not used RV Trip Wizard to import into my Google Calendar, so I doubt if I can help much. I did find thison the RV Trip Wizard forum.

I can tell you that, in Google Calendar, you can edit a link so that you can type a short name for the link.

So – instead of https://www.geeksontour.com/join-now  The link can say just Click here.

You do that by editing the calendar entry and clicking the little pencil next to the link. See screenshot (click to enlarge):

Once you’re in the link editor, you can type whatever you want in the field for “text to display”

As for adding a calendar subscription to Google Calendar – I’ve only done that for other Google account calendars and I find no mention of being able to “subscribe” to any other type of calendar.

Hope I’ve been of a little help anyway.

Unfortunately, that was no help.  A Calendar Subscription is imported, not entered, so it does not use a Calendar Entry window so there is no edit option.  And the link to iRV2 is a question on how to do what I already know – import my RV Trip Wizard calendar.  Since renaming the link in Apple is an option, I was hoping Google Calendar had that option too but I just wasn’t seeing it.  Since I can rename the Calendar Subscription in Apple to a logical name, my work around would be to import my calendar into Apple then sync it to the Google Calendar, but I can’t seem to make it sync.  The imported RVTW calendar goes to a “Subscribed” list and not to a particular email address as the other sub calendars do.  Can you recommend a good forum for answering Google Calendar questions?

So, I just tried to import a calendar from RVTW to Google Calendar via a link and it worked pretty slick.

Once in Google Calendar, I chose to Add a calendar via URL and entered the URL from TripWizard – all stops from RVTW were immediately showing in my Google Calendar. I went into the settings of the calendar so I could rename it to “TripWizard Wyoming” instead of the URL that came in. Is that what you’re talking about?

If so, you can just find the newly added calendar in the left sidebar of Google Calendar, hover over it until you see 3-dots at the right. (see screenshot below – click to enlarge) Click the 3 dots, then Settings. The top setting is the name of the calendar. By default it shows the full URL, but you can just erase that and make it anything you want.

If you can’t see the 3-dots, just click the name of the calendar – the long url to start.

If that still doesn’t help, I recommend the official Google Support forum for Calendar

YES !!!  That works.  And it was so easy, I don’t know why I didn’t see it before 🤦🏻‍♀️.   I LOVE importing my RVTW trips into my Google Calendar.  When we add a stop, we put in the comments:  Hook Info, Check In time:, Check Out time:, paid to date, amt due and cancelation policy, and any other pertinent info we might need the day of arrival.  Then we can EASILY access it from our phones or ipad.  Unfortunately, you can only add a calendar subscription to GC by logging into the web version, not via the app. I am 100% a iPad user but it is worth the extra step.   THANK YOU!
