You should be able to edit your blogger blog on your iPad by opening a browser window and logging in to Blogger.com.
I say you “Should” be able to When I log in to blogger on my iPad, I see my blogs, I can create a new blog, or tap the dropdown and then posts and choose an older blog post to edit. However, it simply doesn’t load the whole post. If what I need to edit is in the first paragraph, we’re good to go. Any further down and I can’t get it to display. I even tried using the Chrome browser rather than Safari – thinking that might work better with Blogger – no difference.
The Blogger app is a little better – I see all my posts immediately. If yours says no posts – seems to me you must not be logged in to the correct account. However, this is just about the lamest app I’ve ever seen! There are only 3 tools in the toolbar: Bold, Italic, and Photo. When I tap the photo tool, my only choices are to use a photo that exists on the iPad – no way to get a picture from my web album.
So, I did a little research for you and found an App called Blogsy, and another called BlogGo. Blogsy is $5 and BlogGo is $2. Blogsy has a lot more favorable reviews so I think I’ll try it and let you know.
ooops … hold the phone! I just found BlogPress too! I’ll write more as soon as I check these out.
Well, I read enough to decide to try Blogsy http://www.blogsyapp.com
Obviously, I haven’t put it thru the paces yet, but I sure like what I see. The only drawback is that it’s a bit complex. They have a great set of tutorial videos though. I recommend you watch all of them if you can – maybe even before buying it – so you can decide for yourself if it will be good for you.
Thanks for this question! I will be using my iPad for blogging much more now!
