Question:  How can i place say 3 pictures or 5 pictures on my blog page and design them so they are placed right on the page and the typing is wrapped around them and they look nice, not just down the page in a row.  Hope that is clear.  I have been looking all over on how to design my page with the pictures looking good, sort of like your pages on your visit down under.

Do i need to know HTML?

Formatting pictures across the page can be done, but it’s not real easy. I have found that I like my pictures to be large – so I just put one picture at a time and let it take up the whole column. That’s the easiest way.

Blogger does have the ability to align pictures to the left – which means the text wraps around to the right. Or to the right, which means the text wraps to the left.

If you want more than one photo across, it’s usually best not to use the alignment at all and let the pictures act just like text – if they’re small they’ll just add on to each other across the page until they hit that margin and wrap to the next line. The problem is that you never know exactly where that point will be.

The best way to control position of photos in a blog post is with a table. Unfortunately Blogger currently does not have a table tool, but you can copy one from Google Docs. Watch this video and you’ll see what I mean 546.BL-How to make a Blog page listing your Google Photos albums

The other way is to make a collage with the photos first, then you’re just working with one photo. I still use Picasa for making collages, then upload them to Google Photos. See this video: 455.GP-Making Collages with Google Photos or Picasa

Hope that helps
