Chris…you once gave me the steps for getting pics sent from a smart phone to my E mail address.  I am very fuzzy about the different steps to save these pics to Pictures. I recall that I do not download them as if they were sent in an E mail. I am not even certain that I have written this question right! This will occur again with Glama, June 11-15.  Need the steps again.  Thank you.  Roxixe

If someone takes a picture with their smartphone (iPhone or Android) they should be able to tap the picture and see some icons appear.  Tap the share icon and a list of apps should appear. They tap the email app and the picture will then be attached to an email – they can write something, address it to you and tap Send.

When you receive the email, you should see an attachment that is a picture.  This will be like any other email with a picture attached and you can save it to your My Pictures folder like is shown in the video:

Just finished giving our 12th class for the week!  It’ll be a little less busy next week.

Well…had the same person send me a pic with her smartphone.  It came to me in the body of an E mail. I right click on the picture in the E mail, select save as….and I like to put things on my desktop to file.   Works.  It is very instant and takes very little time to get pics into the folders in Pictures that they belong in.

Will study the way you sent.  Thank you.  Go rest.  We are going to Franklin…a week at Tiffin, Red Bay, all repairs done!
