I set up a different blog for each of our trips. The first blog that I set up has a brief description of each trip and a link to that blog so it works like a directory. However, each time I post a new posting it automatically goes to the 1st (directory) blog instead of the one I want it to go to. This requires me to copy and paste it to the correct one and then delete it from the wrong one that it decided to post to. How can I get it to post to the blog I want it to go to without going through all of this double work?
I just noticed that my answer never posted here. You've probably solved this by now … but here goes my response anyway.
I'm not sure how you are creating the new blog post that it goes to the wrong blog. Maybe you're using the New Post link at the top of the page?
If you go to Blogger.com, log in with your Google Account, you should see your dashboard with all your blogs listed. From there, if you click the New Post link below the desired blog, it will be posted to that blog.
Hope that helps. Let us know.
