Q: Here’s a new one for you! We have people who follow our blog and they receive an email when we make a new post. One person contacted me last night and she said that she has stopped receiving emails. Any idea what happened? How to correct this problem?
A: First of all, for those who don’t know – the way an email is sent when you make a new post is by using the Gadget for “Follow by Email.” That usually goes in your sidebar and anyone who wants to be notified simply puts their email address there and clicks “Submit.”
Now – to see what has gone wrong with your friends subscription, you would need to go behind the scenes to http://www.feedburner.com That’s where all the email addresses are stored in your account. A while ago, I wrote an article about feedburner which will give you some specifics.
The easiest thing to do would be to just re-subscribe them by putting their email address into the gadget again.

Okay, so I had someone else notify me that they are no longer receiving an emails when we make a new post. Both people who contacted me did try to re-subscribe, but the system wouldn’t let them – it said they are already subscribed. I have followed your link to feedburner, but it didn’t really help me – more like it just confused me! Any suggestions??
