http://donaldsfishinjournal.blogspot.com The photos begin disappearing on Thursday, April 29, 2010.
This also happens to another blog I have at http://dunngonetraveljournal.b…..ogspot.com with photos disappearing June 29, 2010, and before.
Thanks in advance for your help.
hmmm – there are no pictures at all! ARe there supposed to be pictures in most posts?
Do you know about the fact that pictures uploaded to Blogger get automatically placed in a Picasa Web Album? They're marked with the dark orange B for blogger. I'm wondering if maybe you deleted all albums in your web album without knowing they would be gone from your blog?

This has apparently been happening periodically with eBlogger for a couple of years. My internet search reveals that Google overloads their servers, photos disappear, and users have to RELOAD the photos. However, having stated that, my Picasa web albums are virtually empty, and I can't remember deleting the photos/albums. Will keep in contact regarding solution.
Thanks for your comments. As a Picasa user since almost the beginning, I immensely enjoy your website.
Interesting. Yes, I too have noticed a few empty albums in my Picasa web albums, and I'm pretty sure I didn't do it. But – I have so many and some are synchronized with my local Picasa Albums – that I figured I must have emptied or deleted the album on my computer and that synchronized to the web. I have not investigated fully since it is a very small percentage of my photos.
But for *all* of your albums to be gone is worth investigating. Does your web album account still exist? Can you go to http://www.picasaweb.google.co…..username without an error? I have heard of complete accounts getting trashed by mistake by Google – in which case you should be able to contact them to investigate and maybe get them back.
There is a main phone number for Google (1 650-253-0000) but that's just a main reception. I would post a message in the Picasa Users forum:
Picasa Web Albums support forum – that forum is monitored by Google employees. If they think it's an account issue on their end, they will respond.
Thanks for your compliments on the website. We're glad to see you using this forum!
