Enjoyed the weekly show on dictation. I should add that I always seem to have something going on when you do them live, but I always check the show notes and often watch the recorded program. Thanks for doing these.

My Blogger question: Is there a way to dictate on a laptop into Blogger (and MS Word)? I should add that it is a Windows 10 Asus if that helps.

You can use voice recognition software to input into nearly any document or text window on a computer. Here is a link: https://zapier.com/blog/best-t…..-software/

The built-in microphones on laptops are not very good.

We think voice recognition on the phone is much preferred. Find the Blogger app in the Play Store. Evernote works great, too, just a bit more work.

Microsoft Office (Word) can learn to use voice recognition directly. It works best with a headset or USB microphone.

Thanks! Downloading both. But can’t find a microphone on Blogger on my S7. Google text to speech is enabled. Maybe I have to re-watch the show since I think Mrs Geek had that problem?

EDIT: Down Loaded Google Keyboard and that did the trick.

And can’t find a mic on Evernote either (paid version on laptop or on S7)

EDIT: Evernote Help told me how to do it. Here’s a link for others. https://help.evernote.com/hc/e…..09004717
