I have gotten my blog up and running. I took several seminars with Geeks on Tour at Gillette. I have studied your tutorials. It is getting easier all the time. I have been trying to catch up with where we are and am finally closing in. I want to have it up to date by the end of this week. I have had a lot of fun with the blog and the pictures. I am still adding improvements. I still have to figure out getting videos into the blog. I am planning on putting in a map of where we have been soon.

The path is http://www.roamingwithbaileyan…..ogspot.com

I would appreciate your critique and any suggestions for improvement.

Thanks for getting me going.

I Love It!  Great job on your blog.  We were in many of the same places this summer!  In Oregon.

You seem to think like I do … pictures tell the story – they are the main part of the blog – with just a little discussion or explanation in between.  I like that you’re not trying to get too fancy with sizing and positioning your pictures.  You want them to work.  You will appreciate that someday when you want to make a book out of the blog!

For adding video, please watch this tutorial: https://geeksontour.com/2013/06…..o-in-blog/

The next thing you should look into is adding a few gadgets in your sidebar, like other blogs you visit, or a static picture of you and your RV.  Also maybe a page or two.  Like “Our Story” or “Our Plans” or “Our Maps” or anything you might want to have on a web page that doesn’t update all the time like the travel blog part.
