Are there any techniques for creating a blog post offline and then importing when we get to good cellular/wifi service?
My husband and I started a google blog after your talk at the Sedalia Escapade and plan to go to areas with poor connectivity. We would like to prepare the entries and load them when we get decent connectivity. Appreciate any ideas.
Martha,
My favorite way of blogging when I’m not at my computer with an Internet connection is to blog by email. You can even use your smartphone and dictate the email! If your device doesn’t have an Internet connection, it will send the email as soon as you do. If you set it up right, the email becomes a blog post. Here’s my article on that.
If you’re using a Windows computer for your blogging – then there is software called Live Writer that is meant to do exactly what you want. Here are 2 videos about it. I used to love Live Writer – but it is getting out of date.
