Hello,
I posted my third blog and this is my longest one with a lot of photos. I have received e-mails from some of my readers, at least 10, who have been unable to get into my blog by clicking on the link. I have suggested that they copy and paste the website into their search field, but they said that didn’t work either, however it does work for me. I have a PC. These people have been able to access prior blogs, so I am not sure why they cannot access this one. However when I click on the link in the e-mail I sent to everyone, the search comes up with a different name….how does the name of my blog link get changed when I click on it!
I created my third blog in an RV park with very low speed internet and it took me forever to create the post and download the photos….days! Not sure if this has anything to do with why people cannot open it.
I send out an e-mail to my readers with the link. But they should also receive the notification from blogger and they need to click on the title of the blog to get to the blog, which works for me.
I do not know what to tell my readers who cannot access the third blog post.
Thanks for your help!
I did get your link via email … I was able to click on it and view your blog with no problem. It is a HUGE post. I’ve never put that many photos into one blog post! It didn’t keep me from viewing it, but it’s possible that it could make if very slow to load – making people think it’s not working. You have many days in that one post, in the future, I would recommend breaking it up. You can specify the date for any one post by clicking on the options at the right. Here is the video on that:
Does that help? Or do you think there is something more clearly wrong?
One other thing you might want to try is to give a link to the single post you want them to see rather than the whole blog. To do that, click on the title of the individual post (Texas Bound … the lonestar …) then copy the URL from the address bar and send that to your friends. Here’s a video on that:
