Did you know that there was an event in Central Florida called “Peace, Love, and Vans?” For us old hippies, we couldn’t resist. We were just one of over 300 vans in attendance, everything from converted school buses to bullet proof 4X4s. Other than it raining all
weekend, we had a great time! Here’s a short video.

My Smartphone helps me with Time Zone Confusion

With our semi-annual changing of the clocks coming up this weekend, I figured this was a good time to review how your phone can help with Time Zones.

Traveling across time zones can be so confusing when you need to call someone, or get to an online meeting at the right time. After 14 years of RVing, you’d think I’d have it figured out. That’s where the real problems start … when I think I have it figured out! Invariably, I adjust my time in the wrong direction. There are several ways my phone can help

Be sure to watch our “What Does This Button Do?” Episode 272 recorded Sunday March 10 where we cover Time Zone Tips and Tricks.

Google Photos Maps helps me find places I’ve been.

To see “Your Map” just tap the magnifying glass – Search button.

Many years ago, we were traveling on
the Oregon coast and I remember telling people about stopping at a restaurant that had the best seafood Cioppino I’d ever had. What if I found myself on the Oregon coast again and I wanted to find that restaurant? I don’t remember the name of the restaurant, I don’t even remember the town. All I remember is that it was on the Oregon coast at about the mid-point of the state.

I’ll bet I took a photo of it.
