You will learn how to install Google Drive for Desktop and use it to upload pictures from your computer to Google Photos.
Note about storage size. At the end of this video, you see a message that upload stopped because it ran out of the 15GB of cloud storage. On the computer, all files being uploaded totaled 35GB, so that makes sense. BUT, since we chose “storage saver” size, that 35GB eventually was compressed down to just 10GB. However, that compression happens after the photos are uploaded – so, it hit the 15GB and stopped, then it compressed and restarted. The final result was that all 35GB was uploaded because they compressed down to 10 and fit within the 15GB.
