  1. Thanks for the video, “357. Picasa: Transferring your Picture Library from Windows to Mac.” You showed how easy it is to copy photos from a PC to external drive to another computer. Question: In another web page, http://picasageeks.com/2010/01/five-deadly-sins-of-picasa/, you wrote: “Moving pictures with computer tools outside of Picasa. If you want to move pictures from your computer to an external hard drive, *don’t* do it with Windows Explorer (or Mac Finder.) If you do, your Albums in Picasa will be destroyed.” I’m confused. I did watch your video about assigning permanent names IDs to external drives. Thanks.

  2. Wow! I appreciate you taking the time to make this video and answering my question. I have a follow up. You mentioned saving. How can the photo be saved with the edits?

I moved all the pictures from one folder to another in Picasa. What happened to that file you spoke of on the video? Was it also moved to the folder that the pictures were moved to? If it was left in the old folder in My Pictures can it be moved or would it mess up Picasa?

    thanks again

  3. Thanks for the video!
What kind of connector and/or cable do I need to connect the passport drive? Doesn’t the Passport drive have a usb cable connector? Also, would this work in a similar way to transfer from PC to ipad?
    Thanks for any help,
    Patty
