I have contacted pinterest about this issue I can logon my site if I use Explorer rather than Chrome. This has been the only help from them. They have been compromised by Heartbleed and are working on it. When I leave Explorer I get an SSL error and warning that it “cannot connect to the real accounts. google. com” and doing so at this time would be make security unsafe. What can I do to continue to use Chrome for Pinterest (Facebook users are having the same problem) Thanks, carolg
It is not unusual for some websites to work better with one browser or another. Browsers are updated regularly and sometimes that fixes those problems. Other times, an update will break something. I don’t have a good answer at this time.
Fixing the Heartbleed compromise has messed up a lot of websites. I expect that message happens because of the security credentials being changed.
I would simply use the browser recommended by their support until this gets straightened out, as I expect it will.
Do a Google search on the error message. Here is a sample of what I found: https://support.google.com/chrome/answer/4454607?hl=en
